Our adult classes are open to men and women 13 years old and older. You don’t have to have any prior martial arts experience to start and don’t worry about “getting into shape” prior to starting. Krav Maga is a great way to improve your overall level of fitness While you're having fun.
When you start training at Krav Maga South Coast, you will learn basic striking, ground fighting fundamentals and defenses against common attacks such as punches, chokes, headlocks, arm bars, etc. During the course of your training, we will challenge you to train under stress, learn situational awareness and prevention techniques that will help avoid problematic situations.
As a student progresses through their training, advanced students will learn defenses against standing attacks such guillotine and carotid chokes, ground fighting techniques such as triangle chokes, defenses against blunt objects, firearms and knives.
Krav Maga South Coast Kids Classes, for ages 5-14, are a fun way for children to learn this authentic Israeli Marital Art. We teach our children how to be safe and how to protect themselves in a variety of situations such as abductions and bullying.
Our classes are designed to be fun and dynamic, while improving their coordination, flexibility, and physical fitness. We simply use Krav Maga as a tool to teach children important life skills that will follow them through the rest of their lives.
In this program, students begin to see the physical fitness rewards that come from practicing all the techniques they have learned. This program ultimately helps develop the confidence our children need to overcome any challenge they meet by getting them in the best shape of their lives.
We help build a positive mental attitude in our students by developing a strong foundation of basic martial arts skills while teaching self-control, respect, and self-discipline.
Krav Maga South Coast also offers one on one training as a great way to optimise your training.
Many of our student have turned to private lessons for various reasons including, injuries that need modified curriculum while recovering, situation specific training for employment or lifestyles, or lazer focus on a students strengths and weaknesses to develop the best martial artist available.

Drink, drink, drink! The key to a healthy body is staying hydrated. So be sure to have water before, during, and after class.
What To Wear
If you’ve never been to class, we suggest wearing a tee shirt and warm-up/work out pants. For footwear please wear sneaker or running shoes (please no cross training/hiking shoes with strong threads.
Nothings worse than a last minute set-up! Do yourself a favor and come to the class 15 minutes before class starts. Be sure to stop by the front desk and an Instructor will greet you. Let them know that you’re
a newbie and they’ll get you set up with a run down on class and help you with any equipment you may need.
Class is one-hour long. We begin the class by getting into a straight line in front of the Instructor and bowing in. We strive to keep our classes diverse and different every time. A typical class structure
consists of a warm-up, review of techniques, drills, etc.
